Instant Decision Credit Cards

Instant decision credit cards can be found all over the place, and it is becoming more and more of a common practice by most banks and other lenders to offer an instant decision to their applicants when they apply. If you are looking for a company that can supply you with an instant decision then you should try and go online to first see what some of the major banks will be able to offer you. Many will not state explicitly that they will make an instant decision when you apply, but many will in fact supply you with an instant decision regardless. Many other lending institutions will make it a point to advertise the fact that they offer an instant decision, and these types of lenders will have no problem providing you the quick decision you need.

While the lenders that explicitly advertise as providing an instant decision will typically almost give you that instant decision, other lenders will often be able to provide you with an instant decision depending on the strength of your application and whether or not they can approve you or not. If they can approve you then they will typically let you know immediately, if they need to take a closer look at your application then they might delay their response, and the length of time they suspend their decision can vary greatly depending on the lender.

Getting Approved

If you have a strong application you can almost always get an instant decision at the majority of credit card issuers. Most of the time these issuers simply run your credit and if your score is above their cutoffs then they will immediately accept your application and tell you you’ve been approved right on the spot. Some lenders have a system that compensates for lower credit scores with higher rates, and these types of lenders can give you a instant decision most of the time even if you have below what they consider an optimal score. Be careful to take into consideration the rates the lender may be advertising because often times if you have a lower than optimal score they will still approve you but with a higher rate. Usually it is best to read over all of the fine print on the lender’s website to see if they will approve certain individuals with lower scores but with higher rates. This way you won’t be surprised when you are approved but have to end up paying that higher rate.

To make sure you get approved before you apply, you should first understand that different credit cards are issued to different kinds of applicants. This means that there are cards for people with excellent credit, good credit, fair credit, and bad credit. To better your chances at getting approved you should first get a grip on what your credit score is so that you can know what cards to apply for. If you have bad credit and end up applying for a card that requires a borrower to have good credit or above then you are going to only be wasting your time, and in the end this can actually lower your credit score even further due to the inquiry that the credit card issuers will perform.

Closing Remarks

Once you have identified what your score is you can apply immediately, or attempt to increase your score. If you have bad credit making some attempts at improvement is probably the best way to go as this will increase your chances at getting a better rate for the instant decision credit cards with the bigger credit limits. In the end it is up to you, but realize that if a company gives you a message stating that they must review your application, or that they will send you their decision in the mail then you can probably rest assured of the fact that you’re being denied, so don’t get your hopes up.
